"Wow! Lots of goose bumps. I had no idea Santa Cruz was so freaky."

Ghostly Tours
Learn the surprising dark side that hides beneath the chill facade of this sun-kissed city. Your tour begins at one of Santa Cruz’s most sinister spots under the "Lost Boys" trestle bridge where you’ll learn about the curse of the Holy Cross. This section of the river is full of spine-tingling tales of sinister hauntings, a poltergeist, and a cold case murder. Walking along the train tracks next to the historic Boardwalk you’ll learn about drownings, eerie apparitions and luminous sightings. Next, we walk up "Beach Hill" to one of Santa Cruz's oldest neighborhoods which has a large collection of tales about hauntings, murders, serial killers and cannibals. The tour ends by stopping at two of Santa Cruz's most infamous and haunted victorians.

Meet Karen
Karen grew up in California. As a kid she would bus to downtown Santa Cruz with her skateboard and explore. Karen's love for Santa Cruz inspired her to start her own walking tour business. "I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day . . . outdoors and meeting new people." Karen has a background in theater and has been a street performer both at the Renaissance Fair and the Dickens Fair. When she is not giving tours you can find Karen riding her mountain bike or painting in her art studio.
